                Meeting called to order at 8:30pm

Minutes from previous meeting:

            Read Craig Kapernick,

Business of the day:

1.             Reschedule meeting to Monday 27^th august 8:15 pm

2.                                       Grants can be applied for now as we are incorporated need to identify funding sources

3.             Cheaper venue? Graham house discussed as a possibility. Other activities at the pulse seem to have different charging arrangements.

Other Business

Pennants. Discussed whether worth purchasing for junior participants

Would they be respected

Towels, water bottles may be a better option

Belt says more about ability than pennant

2 Trophies one senior one junior to be kept as perpetual trophies

Best awarded in category where its open such as embodying judo spirit.

Stan to complete first aid Certificate so as to keep coaching cert current

Stan away 16^th –26^th august

23^rd September is the qld open judo competition

stan recommends everyone to at least have a look

$20 of change to be kept as float in petty cash
