Present: Stan Munday, Matthew Brown, Dean Walker, Corey Smith, Dale Mackay, Gail Bradshaw, Joel Fenger

Mission Statement                                                                                                    

Murgon Judo Club is a Non-profit Organization whose mission is to positively affect the character, fitness, and lives of its members and the community through the principle of "mutual benefit and welfare".

Proceedings:
· Meeting called to order at 12 noon By Stan Munday
· No previous minutes to present

Business of the day

1.         Election of committee members

2.         Secretary is to ensure that Murgon Judo Club is incorporated by next meeting.

3.         Meetings are to be held bi-monthly on the 4^th Saturday of odd numbered months at 3pm

4.         The website has been up and running @ http://murgonjudo.110mb.com since beginning of January. Matthew Brown is to make any changes to the website, as agreed by the committee and Stan Munday is to update the news letter.

5.         A cheque account is to be opened with the Westpac Bank and arrangement for 2 out of three signatures is to be required. Signatories are to be the executive.

6.         Sponsorship and public relations to be handled by the president.

7.         Minutes of all meetings to be posted on the website with a link from the home page.

8.         Murgon Judo club is to suggest a policy for grading and competition involving disabled judoka to the national executive JFA

Other business:

Letters were sent to Jay Welhoe and the Murgon State high school for there support up to this point.

First Junior grading was held earlier this month with Josef Aoki-Brown and Tyler Bradshaw attaining there 5^th kyu (yellow belt) Certificates and belts will be presented on the 25^th March by Councilor Robert Esenminger and Mark Smith from Mark Smith Menswear. Appreciation Certificates from the club should be presented Secretary to make and President to award.

· Assessment of the Meeting:
- Stan Munday thanked everyone for the support and for coming to the meeting and hopes that all meetings will be so well supported.
